“We are fortunate to have Sarah be our son’s violin teacher. She is very professional and works very well with my son in bringing him to violin and the world of music. She is a good teacher and is always caring for her students and going beyond and above in her teaching. Our son really enjoys her lessons. We highly recommend her.”Guixia
Teaching violin brings me great joy! I love sharing my passion for music with my students. I have developed a thriving studio of violin students ranging from age 4 to adults. I tailor repertoire choices to each student, but a typical weekly assignment includes scales, shifting, etudes, and a solo piece. For those interested in folk music, I also offer lessons in Old Time, Irish, and Bluegrass fiddle. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in lessons.
You can also register for lessons at the Immanuel School of Music in Northern Kentucky. https://immanuelumc.org/ism/privatelessons

Online Lessons & Practice Videos
Teaching online lessons during Covid-19 taught me the value of digital instruction. I now offer lessons via Skype, Zoom, and FaceTime as well as practice videos for students to play along with and learn from throughout the week. Please contact me for pricing and more information.
“Sarah Thomas has taught my daughter for roughly 1 1/2 years and I am profoundly impressed with my daughter’s increasing love and dedication to practicing the pieces of new music each week! Sarah has the ability (a gift!) to notice both large and small skills that need to be addressed in my daughter’s violin education — even while having lessons over FaceTime! Sarah was able to see postures and hear notes that were not perceived by us and her gentle approach and encouragement has lead to a joyful desire to learn the violin!”Caroline
“Sarah is a very patient teacher. She uses Suzuki method which is very suitable for little kids to start learning violin. She writes emails summarizing class notes and assignments, that helps busy parents like me. My daughters love her very much! Sarah has magic with little kids!”Bing
